Magic Valley Bassmasters February 2013 Meeting

Scyler open the meeting at 7:00 at Idaho Joes.

The Bass Federation banquet will be this Saturday February 16th, 2013 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Boise (208) 376-1000. The cost is $45.00 per person and this includes meal, 20 raffle tickets and 1 major raffle ticket. Doors open at 5:00 and banquet starts at 6:00. Guest speaker is Cody Meyer, FLW Ranger Pro Angler. The major raffle item is a MinnKota Foretrex trolling motor, valued over $1200.00. Extra tickets are $10.00 each. The fundraising benefits Youth, Conservation, and the State Team. If you need any further information and or tickets, contact Scyler at 539-1346. We need RSVP's by Tuesday.

Scyler ordered the scale and ordered the Metal to build the water weigh tank. Steve and Kevin from CSR will donate the labor to weld it and Vern from Norco will provide the welding materials. Thanks to everyone involved in making this happen.

The Fish and Game is hosting a informational meeting on a proposed fish study on Salmon Dam at the Jerome Regional Office on March 13th, 2013 at 6:30 pm.

The Dave Withers Derby is February 23rd, 2013 at Lower Salmon. You may launch your boat at any time and we will come in at 1:00. The donation is $10.00 per person for the scholarship fund. We would like to raise at least $500.00. We will NOT have a bbq this year. This is a opportunity to get your boat in the water for a pre-season shake down, it is good to do this when their is other boats on the water to help if you may have trouble.

The invoices were handed out and we have 4 openings on the trailer if anyone would like to be a sponsor.

Please get your dues paid and hand in NEW insurance forms as soon as possible.

Due to Shane moving out of town the club voted and passed that Pat will be the head tournament director and Victor will take the 4th tournament director spot.
